Why be Seventeen to read this magazine? I think it is suitable for most teens, although some issues have more "adult" articles in them. I love Seventeen magazine,and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something interesting to read!

This magazine tells me all that I want to know. They have great articles in it, with great information. It shows the most up to date fashions. The only thing I don't like about this magazine is that they put too many perfume samples in it, and I am allergic to perfume. I end up with a headache after reading the magazine!

I would recommend this magazine to any teen..age 14 and up. Some of the articles may not be suited for 12 and 13 year olds. If you love Seventeen, you will love Teen, and maybe give YM a try, although it is more or less suited to the younger teens tastes! I think most teens would enjoy all of these magazines, so why not go buy one today to check it out?!

I subscribe to this magazine because it offers fashion advice without referring you to a specific kind of makeup, clothes, ect. A very similar magazine is YM to which I also subscribe. These two magazines are examples of what teens want to see in the market. It also does not feature only the skinny, toothpick models but normal sized girls, which I appreciate.

I did like one article called: Crystals. It was about a teen that did drugs for two years then realized she was hurting herself, it made me realize not to do drugs. I also appreciate the fact that the magazine refers to every-day problems and the actual lives of teens. Sure they may be some way out of proportion articles like : What Should Barbie Do For Her Birthday? But it also features articles that can really give you a wake-up call.

I have been a fan of Seventeen magazine ever since I started reading magazines when I was 12 years old. My mom got me a subscription along with 2 other teen mags at that time. I am not subscribed to it now. I find it that it is a very entertaining magazine. I read it for enjoyment, I don't take everything they say seriously. I just find it easy to read. I like the styles they portray in their fashion lay outs.

The only problem that I can forsee with this magazine is that you usually don't have models who are an "average" size or models who are considered "plus size". But that is true with any magazine you pick up. Most of the clothes they advertise won't fit a girl who is plus size and that can get a little disheartening when you really like the outfit but know that you won't be able to fit into it.

I like that they give you make-up tips. I tried some of them and people actucally complimented me on it. The items they show in the magazine are in a wide variety of prize ranges so someone of every class could find something that they could afford. They also tell you where to find stuff that they advertise in their magazine, which is good for people who don't live in big cities. They can still find the stuff they want whether that be via the internet or what.

I think Seventeen magazine is a good magazine. I have read it for many years as well as many other magazines. I enjoy reading this magazine and I am sure you will too. It's better than some other teen magazines out there.

I like to read the articles and funny moments in this magazine. I like looking at the clothes. I do not like this magazine because everyone it features is so beautiful. Don't these companoies realize everyone isn't 90 pounds? I'm 5'8 and 1sum pounds I really don't enjoy always looking at the beautiful blonde girl with a perfect body and perfect teeth with the perfect teeth. I like the way the magazine features thinge that effect us (as in teens). I don't think that girls under 13 should be reading this not because it talks about sex and all that stuff but, because I believe that it can lower a girls self-image. Sure you may think oh no they are talking about sex in the magazine but, I hate to have to tell you but, if your daughter or son is over 11 then they know about sex. Well not all of them but, most. The magazine has is pretty good. It gives make up tips and tips about sun screen but, it does have a lot of advertisements. Like every other page is a advertisment but, all together I like reading it.

Seventeen is a very informative magazine. My sisters read this magazine and they always use it in daily life. The articles have lots of tips about beauty, the prom, new trends, celebrities, and many stories about how to perfect yourself. I know I'm a boy, but I have read it a couple times and says the truth about boys. Maybe guys should have a magazine like this. This magazine is also cheap and for a good price you can get lots of information that real teens go through. I know many people read all those other teen magazines, but this one is among the best that has ever been made....my sister said that. This magazine helps teen girls to get to one of the most rough times in there life. It gives them tips about pimples and breaking up with guys. It also helps them get in style with the crowd. It also has good tips, for newcomers, which makeup to wear and how to cut your hair or wear your hair.

This magazine is probably the most popular magazine for teenagers right now. Even though i am a little older than this magazine's targeted audience i still find myself reading it every once in a while. I was a subscriber for 7 years and i enjoyed every issue. They always feature articles which are meant to promote fitness and health. I have also noticed recently that this magazine has begun featuring models of a larger size which is great because fashion is not just for the skinny people of the world. This magazine taught me so much about applying make-up and the up to date fashions. This may not sound all to life altering but growing up in the environment that i did you are faulted for not knowing these sort of things. Seventeen also covers a different sport or aspect of a sport each month and they show different workout moves for specific parts of your body.

While the magazine does seem to focus on appearance, so does the rest of the world. It is important for young girls to know and understand the world around them including fashion, disease, poverty, and many other things which this magazine does cover.

I buy this magazine because it keeps me up to beat with my favorite stars and fashion. Another magazine that is very similar which is good too is ym, I like seventeen because it's a little more teen oriented in the sense that it has more of what I personally want to know. For instance, it talks about my favorite artists, and favorite stores. It really gets the facts. Most of the time, the things they say are just rumors, but they are interesting rumors... Occasionally they turn out to be true. YM and Teen people are also very good magazines, YM talks more about people problem then celebrity things, if your more into that.

HELLO, TEENS!!!. this is cola812 here telling you what seventeen magazine is all about. as a reader of seventeen this book had great beauty secrets,sex answers and excellent pictures of our favorite stars.i must admit that seventeen had attracted millions of teens around the world. i have been reading this magazine for about three to four years.they really have a way of showing the latest attractions for movies, music, and lives of everyday teens. but this is not the only mag to grab. there is young and modern and teen people to consider.they all have the same thing in common, teens.the are the best magazine in today world of teens.personally i like the life stories of my fellow teens.they are deep stories that we as teens have to pay attention to for our benefit.so teens pick the best magazine that make you learn and give them beauty tips for when we wake up in the morning!

I feel that this magazine is a great magazine for 17 year olds, but now I've realized 12 and 13 year olds are reading material not for their eyes. It talks about boys and sex-related topics which preteens shouldn't be viewing. The large magazine at such a low price is a great value. They also have real life stories that teens can relate too. Recently plus size teen models have been added to boost teen confidence and decrease some of the pressures of being stick thin. I think that Twist, Teen, and Jump are great magazines if you like Seventeen. However, YM is for older eyes to see, since it talks about stuff even adults might not know.

This magazine is quite good in a sense that any teenage girl could relate to it in one way or another. It has many various articles that are relevant to today's teenage society. It teaches morals and lessons through an interesting approach. However, after reading a number of issues I found that the topics do go repeated often. Also, sexual description and advice concerning bodily functions as well as sexual activity can disturb younger readers. I myself am 17 and sometimes I find Seventeen a magazine appropriate for the younger crowd as it doesn not touch the intelligent areas that concern not only teens but people in general. It is a good read before bed when you feel like catching up with the style and having an easy read.
