Taste of Home - DELICIOUS!

One of the top line cooking magazines on the market. Glossy full color pics for all the recipes. Simple, wholesome food that's easy to prepare. The best selections come as full color tear apart cards you can add to your collection. Ever find yourself wishing you could make that favorite dish from way back when? The recipe is probably in Taste of Home - but new and revised.

For subscribers, they have the monthly "Find the Toothpick" contest where you have an opportunity to win some great kitchen prizes.

What's for dinner?

This magazine is the best! I get so excited whenever my new issue comes and I can't wait to try out at least one new recipe immediately. I love the fact that most of the recipes are in a 3x5" format so all you need to do is cut them out and put them in your recipe box. I can't tell you how many odd-shaped recipes I have that "someday" I plan on copying so I have access them easier. We all know when that someday will come! They also have a toothpick contest every issue where you need to search for the toothpick and send in a postcard telling them on what page you found it. In addition to great family-style recipes, they also have tips/hints, a humorous section on kids' names for foods, and even a section highlighting men in the kitchen. This magazine is a must-have in your house!

Taste of Home on my Dinner Table!

Taste of Home is always on my dinner table. Why? Because I love their recipes! My whole family begs for several of their recipes. I have been using their recipes for nearly two years now. It is easier to keep the latest copy on the dining room table because I can grab it whenever I get the urge to cook up a special treat. I am a spontaneous cook; therefore, I am constantly cooking on the spare of the moment. Its no surprise for the children to get of the bus to a 5 layer pineapple hawaiian cake with hola punch. This magazine sure boosts my creativity. It is a must for anyone who loves to whip up a good meal.

Taste Of Home Magazine

Cooking is one of the things I enjoy doing.I'm always trying to find the right dish that my family enjoys. My friend told be about the magazine a Taste Of Home. I went to my local store and found a copy of it. I decided to buy it and have enjoyed the magazine so much.
Taste of Home has dishes in it that everybody can make. The dishes are simple and easy to make. The dishes range from making homemade blueberry muffins to lemon chicken. The magazine is filled with about 90 recipes and
no ads. It even has a children's section where they can make there own dish. If you enjoy cooking and simple recipes this is the magazine for you. There are clip and save recipe cards in the magazine. The best thing I enjoy about a Taste of Home is that I can go down to my local supermarket and get the products for the recipe. The products don't cost that much and I know my family is getting a great meal.

I Love This Mag!

My grandmother subscribed to Taste of Home for me a few years ago for Christmas, and I LOVE it! I am not all that good in the kitchen, and I never enjoyed cooking until I started getting this mag. There are several reasons why I like it...let me explain.

For one thing, each issue has cut out cards for each featured recipe with pictures of all the recipes in full color, so you know what you are making. The mag also lives up to it's name, Taste of Home, in that all the recipes are from readers home cookbooks and recipes. There are virtually no ads other than for other Reiman Publishing books and mags, which are all interesting, I have seen them all. Taste of Home has many different and exciting features like, find the toothpick and win a prize, usually some wonderful kitchen gadget, cooking with kids, my favorite meal, Our Family's Favorite Grace and more. Each issue has a theme, usually a holiday and there are a great number of recipes for each theme. Taste Of Home also boasts that it is edited by 1000 country cooks, which if I am right are all the readers. Readers can submit recipes and stories for the mag to feature.

I highly recommend Taste of Home to anyone with a kitchen. Whether you like to cook or not, your mind may be changed like mine was! It is a truly interesting magazine. Taste of Home also has a sister publication called Quick Cooking that is wonderful! And the company that publishes both magazines offers hard cover yearbooks for each publication that features ALL of the recipes included in every issue all year. I also highly recommend those as well! Happy reading and Happier Cooking!

This is a terrific magazine!!

This magazine is so great! It is full of good home cooked recipes, that are fairly easy to prepare, and use ingredients found in almost every home. No fancy, gourmet cooking here, just good down home food! There are also several monthly features, like "My Mom's Best Meal" where a reader shares his/her favorite home cooked meal from their childhood, and "Touring Country Kitchens" featuring a reader's kitchen renovation. The great part about this magazine is it's practicality; a downside is that since all the recipes are homemade, it may not fit into some folks' busy lifestyles. But overall, this magazine is very good for those who long for a simpler time where good cooking was a part of every home!

AWESOME MAG

This is one awesome cooking magazine written for both the amateur & experienced cook. The recipes are both imformative & creative , not to mention absolutely mouthwatering!! I havent tried too many recipes that didnt come out perfect. Nutritional content is available on most recipes as well as ways to increase portions for larger families. The reason I picked up the first issue was a beautiful Longaberger basket holding the most terrific looking cheesy bread on the cover. From that moment on I was hooked & been avid reader ever since that issue 3 years ago.another nifty feature is you arent bombarded with advertising. Plus another bonus is a hidden toothpick in many issues warrents you a freebie prize, could even be a Kitchen Aid mixer or such. Take advantage of their new subscription rates now & try it. You'll never reget your decision!Cooking light watch out here comes your competition!!!!

taught me how to cook!

I got a free issue as a gift from my mom about four and a half years ago. I immediately found several recipes in it that I wanted to try. I wasn't the greatest cook, actually I was pretty bad. We lived on Hamburger Helper and stuff like that.
The first things I made were Buttermilk Fried Chicken and gravy and they turned out wonderfully. I was very impressed, and my husband was thrilled! An actual home-cooked meal that tasted great, what a shock from my kitchen!
I immediately sent in for a subscription, and have been continually impressed and inspired ever since. The recipes are easy to follow and taste great. My husband told me to never let this magazine lapse, ever! I have gotten some of the now tried and true recipes we make alot from this magazine, such as Mexican Chicken Corn Chowder, a super simple delicious soup that we have quite often. I also make Porcupine Meatballs that was featured in it once, and they are wonderful as well. Another favorite is Triple Chocolate Trifle, a big request for get together's, and fast and easy to make.
I could go on, but I think that you get the idea that this magazine is wonderful. Definitely buy it, get a subscription to it, use it! You won't be sorry. I have amazed myself with what I can make now, and enjoy cooking now.
I also have purchased this as a gift for friends, and they tell me how happy they are with it, and how much they have enjoyed it.

One of the Best Places to find great recipes!

I first learned of Taste of Home when my mother had bought me a subscription to the magazine for Christmas a couple years ago and ever since then I've been hooked.
This magazine offers everything from down home cookin - to fancy dishes to kids easy-to-make dishes. The directions are very easy to follow also. Some magazines out there have so many ingredients that I personally have never heard of - but not Taste of Home - these recipes are from actually woman AND men that share their own "home" recipes.
I love to read the funny excerpts from the children too - and the little game of finding the toothpick in the entire issue is sure to leave one curious to browse even more!
I have made many recipes out of this magazine - I truly love it !

Taste of Home

The absolute best cooking magazine ever published! User friendly recipes - tested and easy to prepare. Great for beginner cooks and experienced ones as well. The recipes are easy to understand, don't use a lot of fancy ingredients and are very tasty. They look appealing as well as taste good. I've subscribed for years now and have not been disappointed in any of the recipes that I have tried. I love being able to submit my own recipes in their contests. The hints readers submit give you good ideas on how to make subtle changes in your own cooking. I especially like getting to know herb - a section about a specific herb and how to use it in your cooking.
