Reviews For Rolling Stone Magazine

It's still the dream of every entertainer....

....to get their picture on the cover of The Rolling Stone, and longtime fans can tell you why. Rolling Stone is still the pulse of the entertainment industry with its provocative interviews, reviews, and coverage of news that the mainstream media will never report. Entertaining and FUN. ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE

THE MAGAZINE IS GOOD AND INFORMATIVE. I HAD HOPE TO GET THE ISSUE WITH BRAD BITT ON THE COVER, BUT IT STARTED WITH A DIFFERENT MONTH. I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO BACK ORDER THE COPY WITH BRAD ON THE COVER.

Still Rockin' after all these years ...

I began reading ROLLING STONE on just about the first issues' release. Now my 21 year old daughter reads it as faithfully as I used to!

RS has changed over the years, to be sure -- but RS is much more varied in content and appeals now to the not-just-college-age demographic.

Still the best overall monthly music publication available. RS has weathered the trends over the years and is still a winner!

This Magazine Rox!

I love this magazine it has all i need to keep up with music new and music realted stuff it's great!

The bible of the music industry

An excellent read for anyone interested in music, the bands/artists, and/or the music industry.

Could it be these other reviewers are simply aging?

I enjoyed it as a teen, and now in my 40's I still enjoy it. Some of the artists featured are no longer my favorites, however I still enjoy the stories. I suspect the negative reviews come from people uncomfortable with their own aging.

Outrageous!

I am OUTRAGED that the average rating for Rolling Stone is 2 Stars! For the world's glossiest music magazine? For the rag that first published Hunter S. Thompson and P. J. O'Rourke? For the only music zine whose founder (Jann Wenner) has been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame? Are you people insane? Are you people literate!?

Rolling Stone! Great Magazine

This is a great magazine and I got a great deal on it! It covers a variety of artists and public figures making it of interest to many different age groups...certainly would reccomend!

Marilyn Monroe(Garry Hixon)finally rates Stone!

This, like People magazine, is a must for any local library, and if you dont read it at your library, subscribe! The charts used to be a little more descriptive on the hot 100 singles though(try billboard magazine) but they have the current album hot 50 or 100. Brittney Spears probably gets in Stone, as much as Drew Barrymore does in People, but this magazine has a few interesting articles, and good band reviews. I think SPIN tried to compete once, but I think Stone was willing to spend the extra dollars to hire the right reporters. Always great covers though, and always something on U2. A good magazine, an American staple that just keeps getting better and better! Thank you Rolling Stone, for entertaning us twice a month!-Later on-Marilyn(Garry)

Things change , it happens . move on ..

I cant say im a fan of allot of the new music but you cant bash a magazine that has always gone in the direction of whos ''in'' .. even in the old days they were doing the same as now . you all are just mad cause you see a diffeent style of music and things are changing . you are getting older and dont want this to happen , its going to . get used to it and just move on to something else . nothing can stay the same forever.
