Reviews For Lucky Magazine

fun, fun, fun

If you are looking for a magazine devoted to shopping, you got it. They don't bore you with what celebs are wearing, and make articles interesting to read.

A non-materialist

I'm not a materialistic, trend-obsessed, self-absorbed person but I LOVE this magazine. I find comfort in beauty, and that's not a bad thing.

I love that the women in this magazine are not huge celebrities that make me feel envious of their teeny, tiny shapes. They're not bent in crazy poses to illustrate the clothes, like in W magazine or Vogue or some nonsense. This is NOT some high fashion, snobbish rag. This magazine simply features fashion tips, beauty tips, and everyday finds for the 20-35 year old "modern" women. The clothes are not trashy or trampy, and as a non-rail-thin woman, I found that many of the "trendy" items were accessible for my shape.

The articles are GREAT. One of my favorite features has a stylist/makeup artist scouring a boutique for her favorite beauty items. Another great feature has a non-celebrity choose 15 items that they must use to create seven different outfits for the whole week. I truly can't wait to see the home designs either. I also enjoy the section which highlights one very important item for your closet and has five women showcase how they would fit the item in their wardrobe.

Oh, and the stickers are pure GENIUS and very helpful. I've purchased COUNTLESS items with the help of Lucky and those stickers help me remember what it was that I coveted.

I got tired of reading Seventeen-like magazines with gossip on "all your favorite stars." Clearly they weren't MY favorites. So if you enjoy fashion and beauty without all the rest of the nonsense, subscribe to Lucky.

Help with shopping? C'mon, really? A magazine for that?

Initially, I thought this was crazee for a magazine...all about shopping? I can do that on my own, but I finally caved in and subscribed. I find this to be quite helpful, with useful articles<I especially love the "Week's Worth of Style">, product guides and info on hot shopping locations through out the world.

Happy with Lucky

Lucky magazine is a good resource for keeping up with fashion trends. I've enjoyed it for several years. Also, it's much less expensive than the trade WWD and you get basically the same information.

good read for the money

the magazine is good, although not my favorite, but from time to time they have good coupon inserts, kind of balanced out the cost of the magazine itself. Arrived on time. All good.

1 yr. Lucky Magazine Subscription

I've never read Lucky Magazine but, thought I'd give it a try. I was surprised at what a great magazine this is. It has lots of great info, money saving tips, I also found a few coupons. Best of all it has the latest fasion designs but it isn't over run with pages & pages of just photos of women in clothing! This is worth the money. It is one of my new favorite magazines!

Lucky Magazine Subscription

Love this magazine, I always find a few things I'm interested in every month. I look forward to checking it out every month. It's definitely a shoppers helper!

Good all around fashion magazine

I read Glamour and this is pretty similar, geared towards more to 20 something woman but i still find something in it every issue for the older woman as well. I like the product reviews and new product listings. Good magazine.

FUN AND INFORMATIVE

This magazine is a major plus in all departments, flirty, informative, trendy, and flattering with reasonable, realistic advice (which you can either take or leave -- a major plus is that it isn't mainly centered on size 2 waifs and makes sound fashion and beauty advice for the every woman).

Of course some of this is so over the top one would never dare to to buy some of these products though the fun part is looking and there is so much sound advice that the reader/consumer is then able to make realistic determinations from these suggestions and incorporate them into her everyday life plus....kill me, I adore looking at what I can only dream about NOT having....and planning on the occasional splurge in my life....investments so worth the money.

Beauty tips out of the world...some fav Bravo tid-bits...and just plain fun to browse and dream and I adore...did I say I adore the stickers to mark where to go back and peruse all the must have's that you'll likely never purchase but just makes dreaming more fun....Plus I've actually gotten some fabulous killer advice (both beauty and fashion do's and don'ts that have totally been worth the price of admission)

Love it....Second best to the beauty bible Allure!
