Reviews For Woman's Day Magazine

Woman`s Day ~ my favorite magazine

I have been reading Woman`s Day for many years. It has never failed to please me with its helpful hints, great stories, delicious recipes and informative health articles.

I love to give parties and Woman`s Day has helped me on more than one occasion. They always have unusual ideas for cakes. For example, I`m giving my neighbor a baby shower next week. In the 5-9-2000 issue they have a very cute bassinet cake. Looks complicated, but according to the recipe, it should be a breeze. We are also having a large family get together this weekend to celebrate the 4th of July. In the 7-11-2000 issue they have an Uncle Sam cake.

I also do lots of crafts. Woman`s Day has lots of craft patterns and ideas. These patterns are simple and easy to understand.

Woman`s Day has articles on just about everything from decorating tips to medical problems.

I highly recommend that you pick up an issue today!

Woman's Day Has Everything

Woman's Day has everything a woman could ask for in a magazine. The magazine is filled with beautiful color pictures, showing everything from fashion, home furnishings, gardening, crafts, health articles, and beauty how-to's. I love when I get my copy because I know I am in for a treat for the eyes as well as for the brain. The crafts are seasonal and timely and give easy instructions on how to do them. Woman's Day is also great when it comes to showing table arrangements for a dinner. It includes novel ideas on setting a table with a seasonal or holiday theme. This magazine also does a wonderful job with interior decorating. Each month there are articles on health issues and the latest makeup and beauty tips. It is one of my favorite magazines!

Looking for the Easy Way? Try Women's Day!

For the busy housewife, mother, working woman who needs easy reading and real life tips, in a moral forum, this is the magazine to read. If you decide you only have time to peruse one periodical of this type a month, choose Woman's Day.

To start with, at the beginning of the table of contents, in italics, is a Bible quote for the month. This is great because it immediately, in a busy world, slows me down to think of God and take time out. My mind is immediately clear and responsive to the terrific articles that follow.

Woman's Day provides information in a light, comprehendable fashion on all topics of interest, including family health and fitness, cooking and recipes, parenting advice, cleaning, gardening and beauty hints. There are also timely articles with regard to working and raising a family, as well as business tips and suggestions for working at home.

Similar magazines to Woman's Day, such as Family Circle or Ladies' Home Journal, leave me feeling unfulfilled. I find they speak a little too simply to me on occasion (we're not stupid) and that they have repetitive topics. Martha Stewart's Living is a beautiful, glossy magazine with wonderful projects, but I'm just too busy! Woman's Day is a magazine with real suggestions for real women in today's middle class world.

A really great magazine!

I really love it when I get my monthly issue of Woman's Day. It is packed with a ton of interesting articles, including different crafts to make, recipes, family, fitness, health, finances & more. I find it very useful and a great place to find interesting web sites that I never knew about before. There aren't really any negatives about this magazine that I can think of. I really enjoy looking and learning how to make crafts. I have always wanted to make things, but never really knew how. With this magazine I can learn how to make seasonal crafts (i.e. Halloween, Christmas crafts) really cheap (of course, I have to go out and buy all the supplies I need!). I also enjoy all the recipes that they feature in the magazine. I'm no cook, but I like to see different recipes that I could try to make - recipes I would have never even thought of! This is a really great magazine and I highly recommend it!

Well Worth Having Around!

I am a professional organizer and in working with folks who like to collect things, I highly encourage them to streamline and throw things out. That is except for Women's Day Magazine! As an organizer, I eagerly await each month's issue of organizing "tips" to clip and save and share with my clients. Folks just don't realize how emotional and physically their lives can get "cluttered" with their busy lives. WD shows inexpensive, smart ideas that are universal in nature! If you can't afford a professional organizer in your life, you have to keep Women's Day by your side! Each month, it covers topics like: Organizing Trouble Spots, 16 Ways to get More out of Life, 21 Ways to Save Time Every Day. By spending a monthly total of about an hour reading these types of articles, you'll save more than that hour each month utilizing these wonderful hints!
