Seventeen magazine is great for young girls. There are places where you can write in questions about sex, health, and just about anything. A lot of girls are scared to ask some of these questions and this provides them with the opportunity to be completely anonymous while still learning about things they aren't sure of. there are fun things in the magazine as well, such as quizzes and other little tests throughout the issue. there are also stories featured in the issues where people tell their stories about things they have overcome in their life. These can all be very helpful. I think the magazine is doing a good job with helping young girls get through the tough teens.

This is a great magazine for any teenager wanting to keep up on the latest trends and styles. It has wonderful articles about celebrities and what is going on in their lives. If you love fashion, this magazine is a must. The articles are up-to-date, and very accurate. The quizes and beauty tips are a must-have for any teenage girl. For the sporty girl, this magazine is good, because of the articles about sports and staying active. Learn how to find a great workout made just for you! Another great feature in this magazine are the interviews with famous people like Sisquo and Christina Aguilera. With tons of contests and giveaways, this is the ultimate magazine for any and every teen.

I personally am registered to Seventeen Magazine, so I can speak for personal experience that Seventeen is an great Magazine not JUST Seventeen years old but for girls(or guys) of many ages. Usually there is a HUGE "Trendy Fashions" so to speak section of the magazine. It in details trendy, fresh, new ideas for going back to school, hanging out at the beach, or even bedtime!! Besides the GREAT fashion columns, there are always very interesting articles on things that teens deal with every day. Such as Pregnancy, Peer Pressure, Alcoholism, Homosexual rights, and many more. There are also regular articles that appear in Seventeen, for instance "Trauma Rama", where people write and tell funny or embarassing moments on a topic selected by Seventeen, or "School Zone", this is where Seventeen interacts with different schools around the country. Whether you like informative articles, fashion articles, or even funny ones too => Seventeen is definetly the magazine for YOU!!!

I buy this magazine because it gives great advice on alot of issues that face teens today. I also enjoy the fashion advice, movie reviews, and music reviews. It also gives alot of cool websites. I love the stories about teen violence, cliques, and drug issues. This magazine shows The negative points of drugs and other bad things with out being preachy and in a way that really affects teenagers. It has interviews with people who have already experienced the topic. I also enjoy the celebrity profiles and interviews, it helps you to really get to know some of your favorite stars. I feel that this is a honest magazine that expresses both sides of the story instead of being biased about certain topics. Although I may not agree with a certain authors topic or views on a subject I know that both sides of the story wil be presented.

To me Seventeen magazine is inspirational to us as teens.
I feel that reading others views on love,life, and there
troubles we can relate in one way or another.This magazine I feel helps us realize that we are not alone, when It comes to love disaster's, problems at school, trouble at home. I also feel that Seventeen can relate to other teen magazines such as Teen People, Teen, and Jump.
All three of those magazine's have mostly the same style, but in some way very different.I recommend these three for the fact that the teach your teen self confidence, lack of self esteem, and respect for them self's and others. So I am going to leave u with this, me being a teen I have learned from other's mistakes, and how because of this magazine.

If you are a girl between the ages of 12-18 then this magazine is definitely for you. I have a subscription,
and I love it. Inside you will find: make-up application tips, style helpers, horoscopes, and a lot of fun. It
also includes many stories, letters, and poetry from other readers, which helps the teen to realize that they
can get through anything. I have read many magazines including teen, sugar, jump, and teen people and
this is my favorite by far. The only thing that I don't agree with in this magazine is all the advertisements,
but I guess any magazine is going to have those.

I remember reading Seventeen magazine all the time. I still find myself picking up a copy every now and then. I love this magazine, its very fun, educational, and entertaining. This is definatly a teenagers magazine, but handle in a mature manner. From boy tips to sex advice, polls and quizes, horoscopes and specials, advice for a healthier life style. Real teenagers asking real questions that give excellent answers to lifes more difficult challenges. Model pictures sporting the more up-to-date styles and fashions, to the lastest ascessories to match that perfect dress.
My favorite part of Seventeen would have to be when they publish the special section for Prom. Lovely dresses, new hair styles, make up tips, from head to toe! Truely a must have for any young modern women!
For teenagers i would have to say this is the best one. Self, Women's world, and others are for a much different crowd. Seventeens is considered cool, in every single part!

Seventeen is a great magazine for any teenager. It talks about many real life issues including drugs, sex, school, weight and just basically anything that has to do with growing up and becoming an adult. It focuses a lot on the current teens and the problems we are facing in everyday life. I love the articles where people send in stories about how they made it through hard times in their lives because it almost gives you the strength to keep trying. I find a lot of good fashion tips in all the issues also; like, new hair styles, fun trends, what is "in" or "out" and different ways to try putting on makeup and save time and of course money. I like the "special" issues that deal with 1 main thing like prom or another fun occasion. I look forward every month to reciving this magazine and you should too. If you don't already get it then let me suggest you order it because you will learn many daily tips and get a good luck on what other people your age think and feel about different topics. Thanks.

I would buy this magazine because I think this magazine relates more to teen life than most others.The ask me columns are truthful and straight forward honest.Some others talk about guys all the time but at an age like this is not a time to worry about guys.They offer columns for girls to put there stories on sex and rape and teen pregnancy and more they try to keep you from making the same mistake because the people who read this are teens and they will get there attention when they hear a true story.They want you to be happy with who you are and not try to be someone you are not!That is why I recommend this magazine to someone trying to find the perfect magazine!

There are many teen magazines but Seventeen without a doubt is the best one out there. Most of the other teen magazines just seem to be a cheap imitation of Seventeen (if you want to know a specific one go read another one of my reviews!) To me, this magazine is the original teen magazine and none can compare to it. I've been reading it for years and plan to continue to read it. Its gives really good advice on everything and anything: fashion, beauty, boys, sex, health, family, friends, and more. The advice that magazine gives has helped me out in many situations. Plus, the embarrassing moments are SO funny! The quizzes are cool to take too. And you can keep updated on all the HUNKY celebs out there. Seventeen is just a great magazine and thats all that needs to be said!
