Reviews For Food Network Magazine

twelve issues turned into six??

The magazine was listed as twelve issues for a bargain price and then I discovered that it was really six bimonthly issues so I was a little disappointed but the magazine is informative and has lots of great recipes and it was at a bargain price so "Thats Life"!

Basic light reading

I was disappointed in my first issue of this magazine, but it is growing on me. There is no in depth coverage of anything in it. But it is mildly entertaining and a fun, light read. If you are a serious cook, don't expect to learn and grow from anything you read here. If you are just starting out, don't expect to become a better cook because you subscribed to it. If you want a decent magazine to browse through, this one is OK. I won't renew my subscription to it though.

Too many ads

This magazine is heavy on advertising and "fluff" and very light on actual recipes. I much prefer Everyday Food Magazine.

NOT SO GREAT

I WAS DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS MAGAZINE. WISH I'D BOUGHT IT OFF THE NEWS STAND FIRST.

All hat, no cattle

Lots of flashy pictures, mostly ads, you have to wade through MANY pages of full-page ads before you find anything useful. Very sorry I subscribed.
