I subscribe to six magazines, I have been cutting back on my expenses but this magazine will be the last to go. This has been my favorite magazine for over a decade. I got in on the subscription when the magazine was a few months old. I keep all the back issues.
What I like best is the medical education provided in each issue. I have learned about hooves, eyes, tendons, muscles, you name it! The current studies and worldwide learning are fantastic. It is a more advanced publication.
If you are going to get ONE magazine and you want more than just fluff, this is the magazine for you.
A MUST HAVE FOR HORSE PEOPLE
This magazine is a must have for anyone who loves horses and wants to learn more about their care. Highly educational and enjoyable. As an Equine Science student, this magazine augments my studies.
Equus as needed as an apple-picker for horse owner
Equus magazine provides quality information on horse health plus other equine related topics. I have subscribed for several years and purchased subscriptions for my daughter and a couple of horse owning friends. Each issue has valuable information. I file my read issues.

Good reading
Equus has many helpful articles in regards to health, riding, and keeping horses. I ordered my subscription after being away from horses for a while and coming back into the world of things equine, to boost my knowledge base. A variety of topics good for all sorts of horsepeople to keep informed.

Overall a good magazine
Overall I like equus. Some issues are better than others. I don't believe everything I read anywhere. But that being said it is fairly well done and educational and not just sales pitches and pretty pictures. We are a medical family and sometimes I question some recommendations. But overall I find it educational and informative.
Equus Magazine
I purchased this magazine for my son and he absolutely loves it. He is constantly telling me about the articles he reads and how they are inspiring him to seek a degree in Veterinary Tech.
Inside your horse.
A wonderful mag on diseases, chronic problems, basic health and nutrition for your horse. Not much on the conservation of the horse, future of the horse or current practices of the horse. But great for health.
