Reviews For Country Woman Magazine

One of the best magazine for active quilters and those that just like to browse

This is a wonderful magazine. I have always found it to be up to date with new ideas in patterns and methods.
Wonderful explicit magazine and it is a fun magazine.

Put a little country in any home

I have been reading Country Woman since 1996. I enjoy issue and it's a country version on McCalls. I have delicious simple down to earth recipes, gardening ideas, decorating and remodeling ideas, crafts, lifestyle, and history. To my opinion this would fit almost every women that has a family. It doesn't matter whether she is from New York city or Hempstead, Texas. Whether you are into the stock exchange or milk cow before daybreak. Country Woman is for women in general.

What other magazine invites you into someones kitchen the first thing? What other magazines gives you a chance to win a "maid" for a day just for subscribing. Country Woman does every issue. I never have been that lucky.

The poetry corner is one of my favorites. Craft is my first love. Country Woman shows you how to decorate flower pots, make pretty things from stuff you would normally trash, crochet, sew, and they even have a quilters corner.

They tell you about gardening from sowing to hoeing to growing. They have an expert on antiques. And if that's not enough they have a travel section. They also interview country women.

Country Woman is a well rounded woman's magazine.

Quiltmaker

As an intermediate quiltmaker, I found that the patterns were all manageable. There are a lot of patterns for specific themes, but they could be changed to suite. Not a lot of OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH WOWWWWWWWW, but good clear instructions.
