I have been reading Catfancy for several years. It has been an invaluable tool for helping to learn how to keep a healthy, happy cat. The articles by or about veterinarians is interesting.

The most important feature of Catfancy, are the health articles. They are very well written and keeps you informed about cat problems and what to watch for. Trouble signs in cats are sometimes hard to spot. For instance, my cat had been dropping his cat food when he ate. I read that this could mean teeth problems. Upon a visit to the vet, it was confirmed. After some dentistry, my cat was fine.

The pictures in Catfancy are well worth the price. There are show cat shots, and just good ole' cats pictures. From serious to whimsical, from pet pics, to the centerfold of the month, these are a treat.

Another great feature is the up to date new cat products, and the terrific classifieds. I have found a several nice products for my cat from there.
And you can always shred Catfancy when you finished reading it, and put it in the litter box! :))

Now, if I could just find a sweater to fit my 500 pound cat! Well, he will be, if I don't keep the Whisker Lickin's hidden!

As a new cat owner, I needed all the information that I could get to be the human that was now "owned" by the stray that adopted me. He lets me live with him.

I was given this magazine as a Christmas gift last year. My family had gone to the newsstand and looked at the magazines available and picked Cat Fancy because it did not deal primarily with kittens, but cats of all ages.

Cat Fancy has a wide variety of articles in it. The articles deal with health issues, moving with a cat and finding an apartment that will accept a cat, organization devoted to cats and their welfare, as well as a moving article on saying goodbye to your cat. A special feature each month is the centerfold, which features a breed of cat.

My subscription to Cat Fancy is expiring, but I have renewed it. The cost may seem a little steep, but I have found it well worth the investment to learn everything that I have in the last year.

Being an owner of 5+ cats my self, I really enjoy reading Cat Fancy. One of my favorite parts of the magazine is when they talk about people helping animals. I someday would like to open my own no-kill cat shelter and I really enjoy read about others that are helping animals (cats) now, what they do and why.

I also love reading the sweet stories about how people found their cats, or how their cats helped them get through hard times, or even saved them. Those stories always bring me to tears.

I also enjoy reading the "educational" articles. For example: in a recent issue there was an article about litter. But not just litter, but litter boxes, how to box train, the best place for the box and some resons why cats stop doing "their business" in their box. This article answered some of the questions I was having about the new "crystal" litters that everyone is coming out with now. The article also opened my eyes to other types of litter that I didn't know existed.

But enough about litter. There are also articles on different health problems and such that are also very helpful. They've had articles on grooming and cat carriers, traveling with your cat (which we do) and new toys and cat condos. Also in every issue there's a part that has a little book review on about 4 different books. And I love books about cats. Some of my best cat books I found via the book reviews in Cat Fancy.

I also enjoy reading about the different breeds. Though I'm glad they only focus one per issue. The pictures are beautiful and the descriptions of the breeds are great. Of course I fall in love with a new breed every issue. But I still love my 5 mixed breeds most.

I highly recommend Cat Fancy to anyone who loves cats, has cats, wants a cat, or just enjoys reading about cats. This magazine will make you laugh and cary and you might even learn something.:-)

I thought this magazine held good information. It has a section on a different type of cat in every issue, which is helpful to find the right cat. It also has different tips on different subjects such as how to groom your cat like a pro. It holds tons of info, it also has a cat index as to where to find a specific type of cat. It also has a section for different things you can buy for your cat. From an outdoor cage to a window seat with a litter box. It has up to date info on things happening around the world, about cats of all kinds.

I love this magazine, it is mailed to me every month. I enjoy looking at the pictures, and reading about the diffrent breeds. I am not only a reader of this magazine but a cat lover also. I enjoy the articles about cat heatlh and other things. I have a collection of these magazines, and always go back to them for refrence points when looking for pets. My family are also cat people and they come over and read up on the breeds they are thinking about owning. Some times I cut the pictures out and put them on my desk at work.

I've bought and read this magazine numerous times because I love cats. I love the different breeds, and this is the magazine that showcases most of them. However, Cat Fancy should put more pictures of the many various types of cats in a certain breed. I don't know about you, but I like the visuals. I do like the articles. They are very informative, whether it's health care for cats or just talking about a certain breed.

As an owner of two Siamese cats, I particularly liked the issue that was about the Siamese breed. I learned many facts about the Siamese heritage, and about the different points of the Siamese breed. It was a very interesting article. Cat Fancy showcases a different breed with each issue, which is great because I learn a lot of information about other breeds as well. If it is information you need whether it's just interest in a certain breed or you want to learn how to care for your feline, you should pick up a copy. All in all if you love cats the way I do, you will love this magazine.

This is absolutely the best magazine for cat owners. It is not just for those whose breed cats like some other magazine but for anyone who has a cat in their home. The articles are interesting and informative. There is humor as other cat owners relate experience with their feline pets. Articles concerning your cat's health are very educational and timely. All breeds of cat's are discussed but each issue has a spotlight on a particular breed. The advertisements do not outweigh the articles. There are full color photos throughout the magazine. The price for a subscription is excellent considering you are getting a health manual update each month. Recent articles have included topics such as: cat massage;stimulating your cat's mind; your cat's weight. I have enjoyed reading this magazine very much.

I want to start out by saying that I really enjoy this magazine. Not only is it entertaining, but it is very informative. The magazine gives me all kinds of useful information about caring for cats. The ages of my three cats greatly differs, and it's very helpful that the magazine covers all felines, from elderly cats to kittens.

My favorite part of the magazine is the Gallery. Located on one of the very last pages, the Gallery showcases incredibly cute or funny photos of subscriber's cats. Whenever I get the magazine, the first thing I always do is flip back to the Gallery.

I also like the Breed Profile that comes in every issue. It describes a different breed each month. I enjoy this section because it describes the traits and personalities of each breed.

There isn't much that I don't like about the magazine. If anything, I think it should have a little less emphasis on pure-breds. After all, a cat is a wonderful creature, whether it's a specific breed or not!

This magazine informs all cat lovers on how to be a better pet owner. It's easy enough for children to read, so they can read together with their parents. It has many colorful pictures to enhance the magazine. They have a breed foldout in every issue to use as posters and get accurate facts about the breed. I think it focuses too much on pure breds though. Most cats that people have are mixed breeds. I buy this magazine, because it helps me become a better cat owner. It tells me about what I need to look out for, and products I should consider buying. I know that the professionals at Cat Fancy only select the products that have been approved by many customers. I don't know much about other cat magazines out there, for this is the only one I've tried. I've been stuck to it... it's that good!

Cat Fancy is a very informative magazine that contains well written articles that covers a variety of facets of cat ownership. The photos that accompany the articles are always well done, conveying a story in and of themselves.

Some Cat magazines focus predominantly on showing and breeding cats and can be boring to the average cat owner. Cat Fancy does have a show calender and will mention some show information but the articles are mainly written for the average person.

I enjoy the marketplace display ads in the back that can bring to my attention new cat products, some of which I would never imagined existed!

Why I enjoy other Cat magazines it is Cat Fancy that is a staple in my library. I have frequently referenced past issues of the magazine for information.
