Reviews For Outdoor Life Magazine

Why Outdoorlife ?

The reason I buy this magazine is quite simple my father started me reading it as a small boy. Thus i have continued to read it,I have tried other outdoor magazines but haven"t found any that fulfill my need for articles on the enviroment, gun issues, new products, hunting stories and goverment issues on hunting. The other outdoor magazines that I have read seem to have a more conservative opinion where as Outdoorlife shows both sides of the issue. At times I have bought its sister magazine Field & Stream for a certain article.Aswell as Shooting Times magazine for an certain article.

Basic for the Outdoorsman

OUTDOOR LIFE is one of the original magazines devoted to hunting, fishing, conservation, hiking, boating, target shooting, as well as the latest gear and equipment. It dates back decades to the time when Jack O'Connor's books and articles about shooting and hunting demonstrated the need for a publication devoted to those who enjoyed the great outdoors.

Magazines of this genre are a now readily available and the market is quite competitive. OUTDOOR LIFE, however, remains fresh and interesting. Its approach is general, but it has some of the best names in the field writing for it.

It's a great place to start if you're interested in conservation or almost any other outdoor activity. I've always enjoyed OUTDOOR LIFE and I gave it five stars.

If you like the great outdoors, give OUTDOOR LIFE a try. You'll like it too.

Does this magazine offer it all?

Ever since I was little, Outdoor Life has been a magazine that my whole family has subscribed too. Every month I lived for the magazine to come so I could read it all, from cover to cover. Now that I am older and have realized that life doesn't just revolve around hunting and fishing I don't get to read it as often. But it definantly has everything that you could ever want to read about...ducks, pheasants, deer, elk, doves, ,many of the fish species...even adventures stories from Africa and Asia. And you just cant beat the price. Twelve dollars for a whole year for twelve issues is something that anyone could afford. So if you want a magazine that I will help you improve on all your outdoor skills, then try this magazine out. It is definantly worth the price.

A Must Have for Hunters

Out of all the magazines in our house, Outdoor Life is the only one that is just for me. I am not much of a reader, but the articles in this magazine really are interesting. One thing all hunters enjoy is a good hunting story, and this thing is full of them. I also really like all of the articles that tell little-known facts about animal behavior. I have learned a lot about deer and their habits, and it has really come in handy when I am out hunting. Outdoor life also gives hunters a good idea of what is the best equipment and clothing to have. I really like it, and I read it from cover to cover every time I get ahold of one. If you know a hunter or fisherman, a subscription to Outdoor Life would make a great gift.

Great for everyone in the family

Outdoor life is a great magazine for the whole family, I subscribe to it for my husband but I know that between me, him, his father, sister and brother in law we get our moneys worth which you get anyway if you subscribe to it. By the time we get the book back, theres almost nothing left to it. The articles are interesting and easy to read and like i have said before interesting for everyone in the family. The price is right if you subscribe, but of course like any magazine once you subscribe it does take time to get the first issue, and they are always sending you notices to remind you that your subscription is up soon and to renew ( when you still have six months)

Good read

I like this magazine because it is a good mix of wildlife and nature stories, equipment reviews and politics that affect sportsman. I end up reading almost every issue from cover to cover. I just recently have gotten more into fishing and can appreciate articles being written so a beginner can understand them. I think out of all the outdoor magazines this one is most worth the money. I also like the magazine because it's specialized by region which many others aren't. The great part is it stays current with the seasons and always keeps you thinking about future adventures. I plan to be a long time subscriber.

Nice publication.

Outdoor life is a nice magazine. There are some very interesting articles and the writers are certainly educated on hunting, fishing, camping, and outdoor survival. This magazine is a must for the outdoorsman. I'm only giving it 4 stars because some of the articles seem to be recycled from month to month and I'd like to see some more interesting content/ideas. Nonetheless I plan to re-up my subscription for another year.

Living the life

Overall the magazine is pretty good. Easy reading. Gives me something to do for about 15 min's a month. Came during the time advertised.

Outdoor Life Magazine

It took several weeks longer than anticipated to start receiving this subscription. The price was right.
