So sez the Maxim web site which features a "girlfriend of the day". Maxim is probably the freshest voice to hit men's magazines since Playboy. Its PG-13 rated pinups, dating advice and coverage of manly things like sports, beer, gadgets and computers tells us men that we don't have to be ashamed of our caveman side. Actually it may just be healthy to flaunt it.

I don't know what it is about Maxim but ever since I subscribed a few months ago my sex life has improved dramatically. I don't think its so much the advice in the pages of the magazine or the race fashion "spreads" but it probably just the open discussion of the dating scene. It gets me pumped to get out their and into the mix. Hey what ever works. Maxim is a hoot, every issue has something interesting and controversial. Some women seem to hate it but hey they have Cosmo right? Actually a lot of women seem to like it because it give us Cavemen some advice in the loving department. Ugh! Me like to go downtown!

I can not speak highly enough about Maxim magazine. At first glance, one would think that this was just another man's magazine filled with pictures of beautiful women. Not to say that there arent pictures of beautiful women, and dont get me wrong, i love them, but the magazine is filled with page turning articles. The articles range from how to impersonate some totally amazing careers to how to throw the perfect barbeque. It also includes great advise, hysterical jokes, and inside interviews with todays stars. Maxim is truly the magazine of the 21 century! I give this magazine two thumb up and recommend it to anyone looking for something to keep them laughing all month.

I was introduced to Maxim by a friend. First I think I noticed the pictorials of all the beautiful women the feature. But want really has me hooked is the articles. This magazine is an Esquire for college guys, it is more down to earth.
The articles are hillarious, not many of them have much serious content. The articles range from current events, satire, sex, beer, sex, beer, exercise and anything they feel that readers should know. The magazine attempts to take a look into the lives of women and see what they really want, by asking them, how ingenius is that kids?
Most guys my age are not men but not kids, we are both and at different times. Maxim caters to the needs of both personalities. One past issue featured military surplus, such as tanks, missles, flamethrowers etc.. and where you could get them, I think that was pretty cool.
Another magazine, Stuff, printed by the same people, is much like Maxim, almost the same. It is kinda hard to tell the difference between Maxim and Stuff, but they are diferent.
Anyway, if you need a good men's magazine that your girlfriend or wife won't mind you getting in the mailbox or laying on the table Maxim is it. I would have to argue that it may be better than, dare I say it....Playboy.

MAXIM is a magazine you will not want to put down until you've read it from cover to cover. Even when educating, it entertains. You'll find yourself with a smile on your face and a head crammed with both interesting and useful facts. It's MEN'S HEALTH with a beer in it's hand and one eye on the gal bending over across the room. It's a wink and a nudge and a double handfull of "I didn't know that!"s.
WARNING: This magazine should only be read by those with a sense of humor. Women welcome if they wish to appreciate the depths of the American male and what fun we pigs can be.

I am here to defend the women who read Maxim, how many there is I don't know, but I am one of them. Maxim is one of the best magazines out there today. My husband bought the first Maxim that came in the house, I subscribed in my name the very next day. I am hooked.

The articles are informative and some are down right hilarious! The B Movie guide was great and I found a slew of movies to add to my collection. The photo layouts are well done and I have a great time pointing out to my husband which women actually are better looking.

I love a magazine where men can be men and have fun with it. For the women who have a problem with magazines such as Maxim, shame on you and put that Cosmopolitan down, it is just as risqu? as Maxim and has just as much sex talk.

Now if I can just talk Maxim into putting on the cover "For Men and Women". Then again, maybe not, that would ruin the fun.

Maxim is an excellent Men's magazine that also provides just the right content to be of interest to women also. It has a good mix of up to date stories, jokes and miscellaneous articles. The photo spreads are a major plus.

Some of the most beautiful women on TV and the movies can be found gracing the pages of Maxim, in recent months they have had Jamie Pressley, Melissa Joan Hart and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

The articles on sex and men and women and what they want are cutting edge honest stories. There is no sensationalization of the stories. This magazine is full of good information.

Maxim is the Cosmopolitan for Men. And one of the fastest growing magazines on the market today.

I picked up a copy of this magazine over a year ago and I have been addicted ever since. It is like crack on paper. Short, interesting and useful articles tucked in between pictures of beautiful women and people doing stupid things. This magazine should be as important to a man as cosmo is to women. This mag covers everything that is important for a man under the age of 35 life, sex, booze, gadgets, clothing, and sports. This magazine somehow grabs my short attention span and does not let go until I have read the issue from cover to cover. It is just a damn shame that there are only 10 issues a year.

Maxim magazine should be considered to be the male, female crossover for the twenty first century. As a man I enjoy the magazine for all it's intelligent and clever writing, but also for the tasteful way they portray the female body. My wife enjoys the magazine as much as I, from the in depth articles, ironically written in short, simple to understand style. This magazine makes me look at our relationship from a new perspective and understand what factors to be sensitive to. Pictorials are vibrant, single focused and always allow the mind to work with curiosity. This magazine will always be a part of our household due to it's tasteful manorisms and the true grit writing style in which they summarize. Pick one up, you won't be disappointed, nor will your significant other.

Sweetest magazine, it has to be one of my favorite mags out today.
You get all your information, jokes, girls, money, and anything you want to know about is in here.

I love the cars are sweet but the ladies, I have to say the woman
are some of the best as well.

I love to read the magazine for all the articles, which really do
help sometimes. Even if you like other magazines like People, or
Newsweek you can still enjoy this magazine!

This magazine is the ultimate, hands down. I could not do a better job myself, and I'd like to see someone else try. Maxim has it all- sex, sports, beer, gadgets, great articles, jokes, and pictures of beautiful women. The articles are more real-life and far more entertaining than anything in men's health or any of those other cheesy "men's magazines". Maxim's articles are funny, informational, and can be enjoyed ben men or women. The humor keeps me laughing for hours. And to top it all off, It always has the best pictures of beautiful celebrities. Maxim magazine means Maxim-um enjoyment.
