Reviews For Maxim Magazine

This is a pretty random magazine, but it has great jokes and hot women. Good articles that are funny yet you can still get something out of them. The photo spreads are great, and you can browse through the magazine 5 or 6 times and still find something that you missed the time before. It has a lot of tidbits of news and information. One recent article I liked was a detailing of the best cars this year. It was really good. It gave a run down of the best cars, prices, and a comical description. Its a great magazine for guys in college.

After I read my first issue of Maxim, I subscribed immediately. When I recommend it to friend and they ask me what it is, i say "It's GQ for real men". Maxim is very informative and VERY funny. Their responses to the letters are just what you and I are thinking to say to these people. They are real and don't "fluff" and brown-nose anyone. Their articles are great and the pictures are wonderful. My only complaint is that it is TOO much of a tease to see all the women clothed and not ONE even topless. Even National Geographic shows breasts.

When it comes in the mail, My wife and I have to fight over who gets to read it first. She does NOT get offended by any of the things they say in there. She laughs harder than I do at the magazine. This is one subscription I will be keeping for a long time.

There are articles on how to change tires, where to stay when you travel, and even how to lie to pick up women...it even gives you great sounding jobs and tells you what you can say is your background.

Maxim is the greatest magazine out there for the urban male 18-28 years old. I used to get Details, but ever since the Denise Richards scandal (see my Details review), I changed over to Maxim.

First of all, Maxim has many things outside of the good looking girls (Not that I don't like them, but I can always find them on the internet, using @Home [you can see my review on that too]). The reviews of gadgets are priceless, and the sports references are great too.

The best thing about Maxim, however, is the quality of writing (I actually read it for the articles). Seriously, I strongly recommend it.

So, you have heard all the hype about the Magazine which goes by the name of "Maxim"!! Well, as an avid reader of theoretical literature such as Playboy and Victoria' Secret Catalogs, the latter of the two only for gift giving Ideas, I recommend you go buy yourself a copy of Maxim.

Maxim is written with a curious yet well studied approach to all of life's important topics - Sex, Sports, Beer, Gadgets, Clothes, and Fitness. Maxim is a huge "Giddy Up!!" on the Kramer Scale. If you don't gain something from reading an issue, you are not a man!! The photo's are not made for the blind Wacker, But you might find a soiled copy in a rest area someday.

On a more serious note, the Maxim staff have a very generous offer for subscriptions. To make a long story short, "Beat the caption" is always worth the dollar an issue subscription cost!! Highly Recommend.

Maxim magazine has been around for about two years now. I was first introduced to the magazine by a friend. This particular friend was a funny guy so i always looked foward to the cool magazines he got in the mail. Although after glancing through one of his issues one day i knew after reading about 3 pages i was going to have to subscribe to this magazine. I was HOOKED. The models they have in each issue are totally off the hook. My friends now come over and drool over my maxim for hours. And what gets me even more is it seems alot of the number one maxim fans are women too, i love that a man can now read a magazine that he loves and his wife actually approves of it too. The articles they have are also terrific, they have everything from hunting tips, to dress styles, to jokes, and many other things. I say buy it to believe it.

The tag line that runs the length of the top of the magazine says it all "Sex, Sports, Beer, Gadgets, Clothes, Fitness." Okay, maybe it doesn't say everything, but it's a good start.

Maxim does much more than just cover a few measly topics, it gets right in there to the grunge and the grime and it digs up everything guys want to read about. But, it's not just for guys. I know a lot of guys who get it, but more often than not, their girlfriends probably end up reading more of it than they do. They must be doing something right if even women like a men's magazine - that is if there's not something wrong with them.

The magazine does have a wide base to cover which is cool because you can pick up one magazine and get a dose of everything all at once. They have great interviews (usually with hot chicks), they talk about sex and beer (two of an American man's staples for living), and they do a great job of covering new gadgets that hit the market as well as things that you know you're never gonna need but will probably end up spending a grand on because it was featured in Maxim.

Another great thing about Maxim is that nothing has to be, or rarely is, taken seriously. In addition to their page of jokes (which usually get told over and over among my circle of friends until the next Maxim comes out) the captions for almost all of their pictures are just funny, funny, funny. I don't know who comes up with all of the great picture captions, but someone should give them a gold metal, or at least a pat on the butt or something.

Overall, this is a great magazine for guys and gals alike and I'd recommend snagging a copy and checking it out for yourself...

As much as I love Playboy I have to say that Maxim is so much better. Not only does it have a lot of very hot women but it has stuff like the sports injury of the month, jokes, and the all sex work out. I mean what else can you ask from a magazine than sex, sports, beer, gadgets, clothes, and fitness. The latest issue has the beautiful Lara Flynn Boyle, and what can i say but oh my she is fine.

Maxim magazine for men is the best magazine. There is so much random information in it that its fun to read. The magazine always has interesting articles. Whether its about the finest girls to hit the movie scene (which usually end up on the cover and half naked in the articles) or something that will just amaze you that you never thought would, like an article about how a man had to amputate his own leg after a boulder fell on it. There also the gadget section that has the latest gizmos available like remote controlled kites to clear toilet seats. The completely random things that writers stick in the magazine are just so amazing. Read it sometime!

I have never, ever enjoyed reading the kind of men's magazines that did not have naked women in them! Maxim changed all that for me. I read every issue cover to cover and everyone is as good as the last. They deal with subject matter that appeals to the modern intelligent guy. Articles on music, cars, women and all the other usual things except that here, they put a wry twist on everything. Some of the articles could be longer but the wit is just outrageous!

I always love the advice columns where they give intentionally bad advice on something that guys should do to get chicks or money or whatever. You don't get the joke until the end of the article! It allows you to laugh at every other guy you know but still be glad you're a guy too! NOW THAT IS GENIUS Y'ALL!!!

There are always lots of articles about the hot ladies that we all love from music, tv or movies and check this out, they actually interview the intelligent ones! You could maybe call Maxim a GQ for cool guys but it's so much more than just that. If there's any magazine out there that I would say has damn near every cool thing a magazine could have, then I'd have to go with Maxim.

I love this magazine, I have never seen anything so true and to the point, there are some great articles in here and I have shared many of them with friends and they have to agree. What more could you ask for, a cover girl, articles about things that relate to us, and man oh man every month a new actress interviewed. I have subbed to so many magazines for guys, and to be honest, Maxim is the BEST!!!!!!!!!! I discovered this Magazine about a month or two after it hit the racks, a friend was telling me about it and I decided to give it a look. My first issue was with my favorite actress of all time. (hint,hint, Charmed, Who's The Boss)I was'nt aware that she was gonna be in the issue and I was glad that I subbed when I did :-)

If you want a good magazine without a bunch of crap, I suggest you take a look at Maxim, well worth the price, and very affordable too.
