Disappointed in you . .

I only read one issue and tried to cancel because my interest were not met. I had to jump through hoops to comlete the cancelation task. Succeeded at last. Still don't know if the refund got into the correct account.
Best Magazine I Have Ever Picked Up
February 21,2011
I have literally read thousands of magazines and books over the years but "Wired" is the only magazine I have ever picked up that I actually read from cover to cover. Every issue is filled with excellently written articles in the fields of science, computers, life in general, comedy, and future predictions. It is not the typical 90 pages of advertisements with 10 pages of text.
Well written.
Interesting.
Easy to follow.
Love it and highly recommend to anyone.

Maybe I got a bad issue.....first impressions are everything!

I don't have much to say, completely shocked and grossed out by this magazine. I bought it for my husband to enjoy, he is a tech junkie and a video game guy. The description just made it sound great and I got a super deal. The first issue that arrived is this one pictured, the underworld issue, and it tells you how to smuggle coke on an airplane, gives some fabulous information on human body part sales on the black market, and an informative breakdown of the ingredients in heroin. I almost had a heart attack, and I am dying for an explanation. Totally dumbfounded.
Great Magazine for all the wrong reasons

Chris and company do a great job creating entertainment and digging up the dirt in our world every month. Some of the great business lessons and government craziness have been presented in Wired Magazine.
The article on Thorium last year changed my entire outlook on the energy business. The article on Long Tail marketing for the music industry is a standard training tool in the marketing business.
Get wired, have some fun, learn some cool stuff and live a little better.

Great stuff in Wired! Continuously good reporting and entertaining. I love the "What's in this item" column every month...animal fats in toothpaste, ek. Not too hard core techie, more mainstream technology issues, so everyone can relate to the articles. Highly recommended.
A bit one track

This magazine has some interesting material but because it aims to be based in the state of the art science, some of the content is pretty extreme. So order it and expect to be able to get thorugh some of the articles but not all, unless you yourself are a scientist or Techie.
Good for geeks

Always enjoy this magazine and read it cover to cover. I'd give it 5 stars were it not for its consistent leftward bias

I've taken Wired for a year and recently renewed. I was surprised at how much fun it is to read. This is not just a computer, techie publication. It is super-informative and may be the funniest magazine ever. I read every page each month. FYI - I'm a middle-aged man. My teen-aged daughter doesn't "get it," but my 22-year-old son loves it. My 79-year-old dad thinks it's OK.
Great Magazine, Great Info, Great Presentation

Wired, defintely one of the best publications related to the technology world. Beautiful format an presentation, writing is excellent, cutting edge, covers a wide array of technology topics. Great publication. Probably the best way to obtain a sneak peak into the future of technology.
Best Mag in Publication

Wired is without doubt the best wider audience magazine in publication. It's consistent quirkiness and unpredictability is on display everywhere (in small print, upside down, etc) and there is hardly a white space in its margins. It's compressed high quality info. Its target audience is technology market "early adopters". It's an eclectic mix of current technology, trivia, art, techno-society and speculation. It's consistently prescient in its speculation ... the management keeps a tidy score. There are success stories and smoking-black-hole failure stories that push the reader's critical thinking skills.
I don't know how they make money selling subscriptions this cheap. It's an excellent example of an extraordinarily high cost, high quality printing.
